3. Get plenty of sleep

Sometimes it’s just too tempting to not stay up and watch Netflix with your hooman, but you have busy days too. Who else is going to bark at the mailman or protect the house from danger? Make sure to set aside 8 hours every night to sleep and get at least a few 1-hour naps throughout the day. No excuses! Poor dental health can affect other parts of your body as well, like your heart and liver (Petmd.com). Fear not though, dental health doesn’t just have to be vet visits and teeth brushing. There are treats, like Redbarn’s Denta Doggie, that work to keep up dental health between visits.

5. Maintain a good work/life balance

It’s easy to get carried away with your job. After a while digging up the backyard doesn’t feel like a chore anymore, it becomes fun. It’s important to have a balance between tearing up shiny, new things and doing stuff just for you. Be sure to work time in for your friends and things that make you happy!
