While pieces breaking off is uncommon, it is possible, especially with pups who have an aggressive chomp style. For that reason, we recommend supervision when giving this chew to your dog, especially for the first time or if you’re unsure of what kind of chewer they may be.

If you find your pup to be a strong chewer, we recommend looking towards our Bully Sticks instead. They come in a variety of lengths and widths to accommodate even the strongest of chewers!

Are all the same size?

We do our very best to keep our cow hooves as consistent as possible, but since these are an all-natural animal product, there will be variation from batch to batch, and even from hoof to hoof.

Does it have an odor?

Although we try our best to produce a low odor product, because we don’t treat our products with chemical treatments, it is nearly impossible to have a product with no odor. As they are all natural animal products, the odor will vary from animal to animal and batch to batch.

Why does it have different colors?

Variations in the color of the cow hooves are completely normal and safe. As these are an all-natural animal product, colors may differ among our products depending on the color of the animal. We do not add any artificial ingredient to uniformly color the chews.

Is it digestible?

Hooves are not digestible. In case your dog swallows a small fragment, it will just pass through the digestive tract until it gets discharged.

These are toenails of cows. Keratin is the main protein that makes up these chew toys.

Is it safe for pet dogs?

Every dog's chew style will vary. This makes a great treat and chew for light or medium chewers but may not be the best fit for aggressive chewers.
