This layer is called the corium, and unlike the epidermis (where traditional rawhide comes from), this soft layer is more elastic and digestible, not to mention more beneficial for our dogs!

Warning: the product you're about to give your dog is positively delicious! While our natural treats are (in our expert opinion) super tasty, there are a few safety tips we ask all of our owners to observe:
- First, human consumption is not recommended (duh!).
- Second, we always recommend supervision while feeding your pet any treat or chew.
- Third, remove any large, swallowable pieces to prevent blockages.
- Fourth, provide plenty of drinking water to help with digestion. Hard chews could damage a dog’s teeth. If your pet isn't used to this treat, feed in limited quantity. The braided collagen chews are the only chews I buy for my corgi, June! She is almost 2 years old and has a super sensitive stomach. We have tried bully sticks (can't handle the smell and have to be care on how long she has it), yak chews, other non rawhide chews and these are the best I have found. No odor, she loves the taste, easy on the stomach and I'm lucky that she leaves it when there's only a couple inches left. I keep repurchasing from Amazon but they only have the 3 pack of the large braids so I love ordering directly from Pawstruck. It's a better deal for more (we go through a 3 pack in about a month). HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend, these can be pricey but 100% worth it!!
