Of course, the “Gerber baby” of puppies made the list. Known for their natural intelligence, kind temperament, and coats made of pure sunshine, Golden Retriever puppies will turn any frown upside down any day. A golden retriever puppy becomes fully-grown at about 3 to 5 years although it’s not unusual for Goldies to have an adorable Peter Pan syndrome throughout their lives.
Jack Russells

his spunky, cute puppy steals your heart with its tiny size and giant personality. Many would agree that having a Jack Russell is just like having a puppy 24/7 for the next 15 years. Due to the nature of the breed, Jack Russells, needless to say, is not for the faint of heart. Jack Russell puppies need to be trained while young as they can become aggressive if not socialized properly. Reinforce desired behavior early with some jerky treats for a tasty reward.
Shih Tzu
Not much bigger than a dust bunny, Shih Tzus are cute puppies that stay small. Pretty ironic for the breed that’s also called “lion dog.” They are smart little pooches, although they can also be stubborn. That being said, make it a priority to start socializing and training your Shih Tzu puppy as soon as you bring them home.
Rottweiler
Undeniably one of the most misunderstood dog breeds, Rottweilers, also called Rotts or Rotties, are strong and muscular and confident — but don’t let that fool ya! Rotties can be extremely affectionate and there’s no stopping them when they decide to cuddle and love you. Train your Rottie puppies early to hone their social and natural protective instincts. For large dog breeds like Rotties, durable chews such as bully sticks are the training rewards of choice!
Mastiff
We dare you to look at this puppy face and not say “aaahhhhhh.” The cutest puppy breeds large and in charge of cuteness. Mastiffs are considered the biggest dogs on earth in terms of pound-for-pound mass but all that brawn comes with a gentle temperament that overall makes Mastiffs a favorite family pet. Mastiffs love to dig and chew so if you ever decide to have one, make sure to keep plenty of long-lasting dog chews on hand to keep them occupied and trained.
Beagle
This is one of the cutest puppy breeds ever! Pawfection is the word that comes to mind, with that silky soft puppy fur and sweet face, surrounded by those floppy ears. Beagles were originally bred to be hunting dogs and they can be really persistent at tracking a scent once detected. No wonder many beagle owners like to call them noses on four legs.
Labrador Retriever
Maybe we spoke too soon with the Beagle puppy being the cutest puppies… You can’t forget about Labs as they hold the torch of cute puppy breeds. Just like golden retriever puppies, labrador puppies are furballs of pure sunshine! Plus, they are great with kids and other pets which, if you combine with their pawesome energy, creates the formula for the perfect service dogs.
German Shepherd
German Shepherds grow up to be incredibly smart working dogs, but they start out as adorably awkward “all paws” cutest puppies. As you can expect from herding dogs, german shepherd puppies love all sorts of play so if you have an active lifestyle, a german shepherd is up to the vibe. Training little german shepherd pups at a young age is key to a fruitful dog-owner relationship. Just make sure you give him a bunch of well-deserved treats!
